Wind Farm Fryslân: placement of foundations in September

Leaf construction stays in Friesland for a few days a week to keep on top of construction management. Starting from the summer of 2021, the wind turbines will have to provide sustainable power for approximately more than 350.000 households. It is the world's largest wind farm to be built in an inland waterway. As a water country, the Netherlands is proud of this project on its own soil. The wind farm comprises 89 4.3 MW turbines combining to a total of 382.7 MW. The wind farm will be operational in 2021. Energy supplier Eneco from the Netherlands will purchase sustainable power from Fryslân Wind Farm for fifteen years. In this largest province in the Netherlands with a long coastline, residents and companies are given the opportunity to purchase sustainable electricity from the wind farm.
